Arthur Zang – especialista em TI – foi além e usou seu know-how tecnológico para desenvolver um equipamento que auxilia médicos com a saúde cardíaca das pessoas na sua nativa República dos Camarões. Zang inventou o Cardio Pad, o primeiro tablet com funções médicas na África.
O dispositivo, que parece um iPad, permite que os profissionais de saúde em áreas rurais possam enviar os resultados dos testes cardíacos aos especialistas de outras cidades, através de uma ligação de telefone móvel, aumentando a disponibilidade de cuidados com a saúde cardíaca para quem vive em zonas remotas dos Camarões e em outros países em desenvolvimento.
